  2. Interesting...also,
    Burkhart--OB% 435, RBI 57, Runs 45, TB 113
    Phegley--OB% 470, RBI 62, Runs 52,TB 131

Both had a great year. The vote must have tipped to the Conference Champions on this one.

    GO HOOSIERS!!

  3. Minnesota's Derek McCallum probably should have beaten both of them in my opinion. I thought he was the one to beat. .401 avg, 15 HRs, 72 RBIs. I'm happy with the Wimmers/Arnett share though and Dickerson being named the Freshman of the year. Crawford should have been at least 3rd team.

  4. George,
I certainly can't argue with your points and Crawford played great and deserved a spot. With that said, IU did pretty good. Lets hope we can finish with a Tourney win (knock on wood)!!!
    GO HOOSIERS!!

  5. I bet if the boys win the conference tournament, no one will care any more about individual awards. I know most of the team and they are not selfish so there is much more expected from them. Plus if we have that many people getting individual awards and others that were worthy, we should win a team award! How bout the Big Ten tournament?

  6. I'll be more than happy with a tourney win NewHoosierFan! Crawford was just my Big Ten snub. Hopefully Crawford will motor around the bases today and show Purdue and anyone else watching why I thought he was snubbed. Squires was my surprise though so I guess that made up for it a bit. Not that he hasn't done well because he has, but I kinda just forgot about the RP spot and had no idea who else had good closers. Happy to see the Freshman team because I think we definitely have the best freshman hitter and pitcher in the conference. Congrats to all. Now crush Purdue!
