Via Twitter, Coach Smith informed us that the starting rotation for this weekend's Music City Challenge in Nashville will look like this:
FRI (3/5) @ 1pm ET v. Illinois State - Walker Stadler
SAT (3/6) @ 1pm ET v. Kent State - Drew Leininger
SUN (3/7) @ 5pm ET v. Vanderbilt - Ethan Wilson
Stadler and Leininger have been strong thus far, and given Igel's struggles on the young season, I guess Coach Smith wanted to give someone else an opportunity. I certainly didn't see Wilson being the guy, but you can't deny that he's been very successful in limited action this season. It will be interesting to see how many innings Wilson can give the Hoosiers on Sunday.
Go Hoosiers!

Vanderbilt has a nice venue. Local weather forecast says high in Low 50's Friday, Low 60's Saturday and mid 60's Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time on your hands Sunday morning...have breakfast/brunch at the Watercrest Buffet in the Opryland Hotel. Very Expensive - but serves, HUGE shrimp, Prime Rib, made to order omelets, Belgian waffles, assorted sausages, biscuits and gravy, desserts...did I mention the Prime Rib?
But if you go - dont park at the Hotel - Park at the Opry Mills Mall(in the back corner close to the hotel) that way you won't have to pay Hotel parking and they have a nice walkway leading you right into the entrance of the hotel with the Watercrest Buffet right there when you walk in - easy to find - just follow all the other people parking there and walking the short trail in...Also if you are doing that - use the Opry Mills Mall exit and not the Hotel exit (off of Briley Parkway)
Go Hoosiers!
