Arnett looked awesome in person and was lighting up the radar gun all day long. He is so much improved from a year ago today. His teammates really put on quite a show with the bats. The game tomorrow vs. Minny should be a good one for sure. I was shocked to (not see) Dickerson and Crawford in the lineup today. IU played a great defensive game today. SS Jake Dunning made some very nice plays in the field along with 2B Tyler Rodgers.
ReplyDeleteGreat pitching performance by Arnett. If IU can win the Big Ten tournament and receive an automatic bid, a #1 seeded team in the regional should be scared. That is assuming IU would get a #4 seed.
ReplyDeleteDickerson and Crawford's replacements Earley and Lambert each had 2 RBIs which shows our offensive depth. The defense will have to continue to be solid because that has been our downfall all year long.
ReplyDeleteAny reason Dickerson was out today? Just the pitching matchup or is there something that should concern us?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there's a reason.
ReplyDeleteHope that when they return to the line-up - they contribute right away as usual.
