Last night's Big Ten Tournament championship triumph over the Golden Gophers of Minnesota garnered the Indiana University baseball program publicity from a number of different media outlets this morning. I've tried to include anything and everything I could find online related to the Hoosiers' big victory yesterday, but please do let me know if you run across something that I did not include. As we eagerly await tomorrow's selection show (12:30pm EST on ESPN), enjoy the publicity being thrown IU's way. Go Hoosiers!

**Also, if you are going to be in Bloomington this afternoon, head on over to Assembly Hall at 2:30 to greet the 2009 Big Ten Tournament champions as they return from a big weekend in Columbus. Tom Crean, for one, will be there. Hope you can make it out to show the Hoosiers the love they most certainly deserve.**

Congrats to IU.
ReplyDeleteSpoke to your radio guy yesterday before the game and told him I secretly was pulling for the Hoosiers. A quality team that is capable of making some noise and should.
The teams is very talented and I wish you luck and you shouldn't really need it.
Also want to commend and thank Coach Tracy Smith throughout the tournament. I asked a lot of questions after the games throughout the week and he provided great responses and answers and seems like a great coach and its great to see him turn the program around.
Lastly thanks to you guys at Behind the Plate. I didn't get to do eveything I wanted to in covering the Big Ten Tournament and your run, but thanks for plugging the site and I hope it helped make it more enjoyable or easier to follow for those unable to attend.
You guys do a great job here and the Big Ten needs more support that it is slowly getting.
Congrats, good lucks.

Buckeye Nine,
ReplyDeleteYou're a class act, and despite the fact that the fans were mostly from Ohio, I know the Hoosiers were pumped to play in front of 4,000 fans!
I wish we would have had another game. A Wimmers-Arnett matchup would have been something to see!
